Cancer and beauty/bathing products!

Here's a link about traces of parabens found in BC tissue taken from various woman over a period of time it makes interesting reading and confirms that throwing away all of my beauty/bathing products containing parabens amongst other nasties was a good move:

Other nasties include trace elements of aluminum and SLS's which is short for Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) a very common chemical found in shampoos, hair conditioners, toothpaste, body washes bubble baths etc.  Here's a link with more information:

Its a sobering thought faced with the above information and when you think about all the years you've used the offending products which lets face it seem to be the whole of the beauty/bath industry.

Here's a list of the products that I now use instead of the aforementioned sometimes extremely expensive so called beauty products, I say so called beauty products because if my breast cancer was caused from using these products then they don't appeal as a beauty aid to me especially considering I've had one of my breasts removed leaving a whacking great big ugly scar across my chest, its just horrendous.

Beauty Products that are safe to use :o)

Neals Yard - I love this company they are a bit expensive but they produce products that are made using organic produce accompanied with being paraben/SLS/Aluminium free, the lavender shower gel smells fantastic and I use the frankincense face cream daily.

Dr Organics - A little bit more affordable and providing a broad range of products available from Holland and Barratt I use the Rose toning lotion again free from all of the nasties and organic.

Faith in Nature - This is not that expensive and I'm loving the Aloe Vera/ylang ylang shower gel/bath bubbly, it smells amazing and is available from good health shops including Riverford Farm Shop.
